Laurie Fingleton of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2024 surrounded by family. Laurie was born on March 28, 1966, in Los Angeles, CA, to Frank and Susan Romolo as their only child. Laurie is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Fingleton, her son Steven Fingleton, her Aunt Marilyn Pauwels, Dr Jim Fingleton and Dr. Jennifer Gass, Mike and Dana Fingleton, Laura Soldano (Fingleton) and Bill Soldano, Tom and Joy Fingleton, Christina Lieb (Fingleton) and Matt Lieb, fourteen nieces and nephews, seven grand nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Chaz.
Laurie grew up in Illinois and Arizona. She attended Chaparral High School and the University of Arizona. After graduating, she lived in Illinois, Pennsylvania and Minnesota before finally returning to sunny Arizona which she always considered home. She cherished her time as a stay-at-home mom, volunteering at Steven’s school and watching him play sports. When Laurie returned to work, she was fortunate to work in several different industries, but property management and the home building industry were her true passion for work. She finished her career as the office manager for Washington Prime Group overseeing Scottsdale Quarters shopping center. She loved the outdoors and walking brought her peace.
She was fortunate to have many wonderful friends and family who supported her during her two cancer journeys. Her memory will be cherished by all that knew her. A Celebration of Life party will be held on November 24, 2024 from 11-2 at Scottsdale Ranch Community Center.
